Idman.Biz reports that the 50-year-old Beckham's thoughts were published by The Super League.
The former footballer confessed that there was always only one club for him in Spain - Real Madrid.
According to him, Manchester United were once preparing to sell him to Barcelona. The footballer noted that while on vacation, he received information that the Catalan club's offer had already been accepted. This news was unexpected for him. He immediately told the management that if he was to be sold, it should only be to Real Madrid.
Beckham made it clear that he would not accept any option other than Real. It was reported that about a day and a half later, the Madrid club took concrete steps regarding the transfer.
