Former Barcelona and Brazil national team player Dani Alves intends to buy the club "San-Juan-de-Ver", which plays in the third division of Portugal.
Idman.Biz, citing Globo, reports that Alves is also considering the possibility of returning to professional football in the next six months.
The initial plan is for the football player to both play on the field and perform administrative and sports-oriented management functions in the club. He is planning his debut and possible return for the next season.
It should be noted that Dani Alves has not participated in official matches since 2023. He was arrested in Spain on charges of sexual assault, the case lasted for more than a year, and in 2024 he was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison. However, in 2025, the verdict was overturned due to insufficient evidence.
During his career, Alves won the Spanish Championship six times with Barcelona and the Champions League three times. He won the UEFA Cup twice with Sevilla and the French Championship twice with PSG.
