Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed why he rejected offers from several clubs to participate in the Club World Cup held in the USA.
İdman.biz reports that the reason was the striker's prioritizing of focusing on recovery and preparation for a demanding season.
The Portuguese star said that although he received offers to play in the Club World Cup, he felt that it made no sense: "I decided to rest well and prepare. Because the next season will be long, including participation in the World Cup. I want to be ready not only for "Al-Nassr" but also for the national team. That's why I refused other options."
It should be noted that Ronaldo has been playing for "Al-Nassr" since January 2023. Last season, he scored 35 goals and made 4 assists in all tournaments.
