The football match of the 22nd round of the Azerbaijan Premier League between "Qarabağ" and "Sabah", which took place yesterday, ended in a 3:3 draw.
In the 61st minute of the tense and interesting match, Coy-Lens Mikels scored the guests' third goal, becoming the sole leader in the list of top scorers of the championship with a total of 10 goals.
After the match, the 31-year-old striker gave an interview to sportnet.az.
- What can you say about the game? You were 3:0 ahead, but the match ended in a draw…
- It was a very emotional game. I think we played very well for 70 minutes. We were 3:0 ahead and controlled the game. But then we lost the game a bit. We know what level of team "Qarabağ" is, a team with Champions League experience and high standards. Unfortunately, in the end we were satisfied with a draw. But I think it was a very interesting and entertaining game for all of Azerbaijan. This is a real derby and small details decide everything in such matches.

- Where did you lose concentration that you conceded three goals?
- It's hard to say exactly, because everything happens very quickly on the field. The first goal happened after a ricochet, and the second goal was a slightly lucky shot by Kevin Medina. But that's football, goals are scored from such episodes. I need to watch the game again and analyze it in more detail. Overall, we watched a very good match, but losing a 3:0 lead disappointed us. However, we are still leaders in the championship and we continue on our way.
- You had a chance to win three points, but you were satisfied with one point. Do you believe that you can stay in the fight for the championship until the end of the season?
- Yes, of course. Because we showed that we have chances to win by playing like this against a team like "Qarabağ". We have 10-11 games ahead, we have a lot of matches left. It will be difficult, but we will continue to work by thinking from game to game.

- What can you say about today's refereeing?
- I will not talk much about the referees, because I do not want to be punished. Referee Tural Gurbanov tried to do his best, but I don't think it was enough for the game. Maybe the match was a bit too big for him. But that's already in the past.
