Cristiano Ronaldo, the former Juventus striker currently playing for Al-Nassr, has won a lawsuit against the Italian club.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to Football Italia.
The club will not be able to recover the 9.8 million euros paid to the Portuguese player in a salary dispute.
Juventus' appeal against the decision to pay the Portuguese player has been rejected. The judge upheld the arbitration panel's April 2024 decision, which determined the striker's right to receive payment from the club.
The player had an agreement with the Turin club allowing Juventus to defer his salary during the coronavirus pandemic. However, the "bianconeri" failed to transfer the promised funds to him even after the striker left the club, which led Ronaldo to file a lawsuit.
The Portuguese player played for Juventus from 2018 to 2021.
