Judge Alexandra Gil Lima has rejected Real Madrid's request, as part of the "Negreira case," to examine all audits, due diligence checks, and expert opinions conducted by external consultants regarding Barcelona's economic management between 2003 and 2021.
İdman.Biz reports this with reference to "Marca."
The judge considered Real Madrid's requests unfounded, ruling in favor of former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
Barcelona's former president, through his lawyer, submitted a document refusing to provide additional documents after Real Madrid's official request, claiming that "Los Blancos" intended to obtain personal documents and confidential information from the Catalan club.
It is recalled that in 2023, Barcelona and its management were accused of corruption in payments to José María Enríquez Negreira, the former vice-president of the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA), who worked at the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
