Bayern's sporting director Christoph Freund spoke about head coach Vincent Kompany ahead of the team's Bundesliga match against Union on matchday 10.

"He has a fantastic character, he's a great guy. It's always nice to talk to him, discuss topics and listen to him. He is an intelligent person who thinks a lot about football and life in general. So it's a special factor that he's with us.
He is an exceptional coach for the club. I truly believe that he is the perfect coach for Bayern. I would be very happy if he stayed at Bayern for a long time. He has everything it takes," Freund said in an interview with Sky Sport Germany.
After nine games in the German league, Bayern leads the standings with 27 points. The team is also leading in the Champions League with 12 points after four games.
