Chelsea have announced the transfer of Sheffield Wednesday left-back Isha Alao.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the club's official website that the 17-year-old footballer has signed a contract with the "Blues" until 2028.
Alao came through the Sheffield Wednesday academy and made his debut for the "Owls" first team last August. Since then, he has made four more appearances, including starting in the recent FA Cup game against Brentford and a Championship match against Portsmouth.
The deal is worth around £500,000 (€575,000). However, the deal could exceed £1 million (€1.15 million) if all conditions are met.
After 23 games, the London club is fifth in the league standings with 37 points. The gap with the leader Arsenal is 13 points.
