FIFA recently shared information about the football players who won the best player awards in the recently concluded "FIFA series-2026" international tournaments. Sport24.az reports that the list also includes Elvin Jafarguliyev, the defender of the Azerbaijani national team, who was selected as the best player after the games of the tournament held in Sumgayit.
Among the top nine, it is worth mentioning Abdukodir Khusanov, the defender of the Uzbekistan national team and "Manchester City", as well as Leroy Mikkels, the striker of Rwanda and "Zira".
It should be reminded that our national team faced St. Lucia (6:1) and Sierra Leone (1:1, penalty shootout 9:8) in the "FIFA series-2026" tournament.
