The official statement on the matter states:
"After contacting a medical facility in Minnesota, it has been confirmed that the midfielder is under the supervision of specialists due to a non-sports-related health problem. Severe dehydration was detected in the player one day after the match against France, so he spent time in the hospital for prophylactic monitoring and recovery."
The federation also emphasized that this condition has nothing to do with the footballer's musculoskeletal system or any injuries he has sustained. According to the latest information, the star player's condition is improving and positive dynamics are observed.
