Idman.Biz reports that these words were said by Aleksey Kitayev, player-coach of the "Sumgayit" team, in a statement to the club's press service before the game with NTD.
He specifically touched upon the defeat in the last round against "Sarhadchi".
A. Kitayev stated that the season as a whole was interesting and it was possible to take third place in the group:
"This season was very interesting. Yes, we could have taken third place in the group, but emotions peaked in the last game. Our head coach Vadim Kuramsh was removed from the technical area at the end of the match. At the same time, our main playmaker Keon Clergeot also got 5 fouls and left the game. He also congratulated the opposing team:
