Changes may be made to the terms of the agreement signed between AFFA and the Professional Football League (PFL), functions may be increased or decreased.
"Report" reports that the president of the national association Rovshan Najaf said this at a press conference.
The head of the national association touched upon the rumors that the PFL will be abolished or its scope of activity will be narrowed, and said that inter-agency relations are regulated on the basis of an agreement:
"PFL currently continues its activities within the framework of the agreement signed with AFFA. In the future, changes may be made to the terms of this agreement, functions may be increased or decreased. This is an issue that can be discussed. However, in essence, PFL executes the powers transferred to it by the federation. The format in which this process will continue will be determined by future needs and efficiency."
R. Najaf noted that there are legal procedures regarding the clubs' dissatisfaction with the amount of fines:
"The Disciplinary Committee is an independent body, AFFA cannot interfere in its activities. Clubs that are dissatisfied with the fines can file an appeal. But let me note that the funds collected from fines are redirected to the development of the clubs. These funds do not remain in the AFFA budget, they are re-spent on financing football and clubs. In this regard, expressions such as "club robbery" are not correct."
