"Chelsea" defeats "Palmeiras" to advance to the semi-finals

In the 1/4 final match of the Club World Championship, "Chelsea" faced "Palmeiras". Sport24.az reports that the match held at the "Lincoln Financial Field" arena ended with a 2:1 victory for the English team.

 

The first goal in the match was scored by London's midfielder Cole Palmer. At the beginning of the second half, "Palmeiras" striker Estevan Villian equalized the score.

 

Brazilian goalkeeper Weverton scored an own goal in the 83rd minute, which brought victory to the "nobles".

 

Note that "Chelsea" will face "Fluminense" in the semi-finals. The meeting is scheduled for July 8.
