Chinese League Two club "Changchun Sidu" has been fined 30,000 yuan ($4,100) for placing papers with curses written on them in the opponents' dressing room.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Chinese Professional Football League that the team was also severely reprimanded for this reason.
The statement said that before the game, club employees placed a number of superstitious objects from the feudal era in the opponent's dressing room, which caused negative consequences. On June 28, "Changchun Sidu" hosted "Shanxi Chunde Junhai" at home. The guests found pieces of yellow paper in the dressing room with the words "Shanxi Chunde Junhai will lose" written on them.
It should be noted that the match ended with a 2:0 victory for the home team. "Changchun Sidu" is in second place in the northern division after 17 rounds.
