An interview with Brazilian defender Cesar Henrique, one of the new transfers of "Shamakhi", to Futbolinfo.az
– You have been with "Shamakhi" for a month now. How is the adaptation process going? How much more time do you need to fully adapt to the team?
– I haven't had any difficulties since I arrived here. Even though I don't speak the language that most of the players and coaches speak. Everyone helps me with everything I need both on and off the field.
– Did you hesitate when deciding to move to "Shamakhi"? What played a decisive role in your decision?
– There is always some hesitation when making a decision anyway. After all, the issue was leaving my country and going to a distant place. But after doing some research about the "Shamakhi" club and the infrastructure offered to the players, I didn't need to think much. I just wanted to be here and play for the club's success.
– There are only a few days left until the start of the Azerbaijan championship. Is "Shamakhi" fully ready for the new season?
– We have been working very intensively for a long time. During the preparation process, we played friendly matches with other teams in the league and are currently finalizing the last details needed for the championship debut.
– You will be a guest of "Neftchi" in the first round. How much information do you have about the opponent? What result do you expect from this game?
– I can't say anything specific about the result. Because football is a very uncertain sport. But we will be fully prepared to show a good game. I can say that we will do our best to win.
– The current squad of "Shamakhi" is formed from the unity of legionnaires and young local players. Will you have difficulty understanding each other?
– We live together every day, we overcome every difficulty we face together. Therefore, I don't think there will be a problem.
– A lot of Brazilian football players play in the Azerbaijan championship. Who do you know from them?
– Yes, this proves that the league is very high quality. I am very happy to be another Brazilian playing in the Azerbaijan Premier League and wearing the "Shamakhi" uniform.
