Brazilian national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti has shared his thoughts on the performance of 40-year-old Croatian midfielder Luka Modrić at "Milan".
Idman.Biz reports that the expert has expressed kind words about Modrić.
Ancelotti stated that Modrić's level does not surprise him at all: "He never missed training at "Real". Luka is a disciplined, strong genetics, serious, experienced and high personal qualities football player. These aspects allow him to be one of the best midfielders even at the age of 40.
"Milan" has become even stronger after Modrić's arrival, but the team's main rise was due to Allegri's influence – this was immediately felt. He is a specialist who does not like to complicate things and that is why he is an excellent coach. I think "Milan" can win the Italian championship. Not participating in European Cups is an additional advantage for them."
It should be noted that Luka Modrić played for Madrid "Real" under the leadership of Ancelotti in 2013–2015 and 2021–2025.
