Brazilian club "Botafogo" has parted ways with its head coach, Renato Paiva.
"Report" reports that the club's press service has released a statement about this.
The specialist left his post after losing to another representative of the Brazilian Serie A, "Palmeiras," in the 1/8 finals of the Interclub World Championship.
It should be noted that R. Paiva had been coaching the team since February 2025. He previously worked as a head coach at Ecuador's "Independiente", Mexico's "Leon" and "Toluca", as well as Brazilian representative "Bahia".
