Bias, threats and lack of a nutrition department at "Real Madrid": Shocking statement from the former dietitian

Itsiar Gonzalez, the former nutrition specialist of the Spanish club "Real Madrid", has made a statement about the problems she faced while working at the club.

Idman.Biz reports with reference to "Marca" that the 47-year-old specialist said in an interview that she was subjected to biased treatment and even threats from the medical staff of "Real Madrid". According to her, although her work with the players gave real results, this caused dissatisfaction in the club's medical department.

Itsiar Gonzalez noted that after working with her, the players significantly reduced muscle cramps, muscle pain, and severe fatigue after training and games. However, the medical staff did not accept her activities and tried to discredit her in front of the club management.

According to Gonzalez, although the president of "Real Madrid", Florentino Perez, invited her personally, the medical department later convinced the president and formed a negative opinion of her. The former specialist said about this:

"Real Madrid's nutrition and diet plan? There is no nutrition department there at all. When I arrived, the doctor in charge said that food and supplements have no effect on injuries and performance. The cook cooks with whatever products he wants, and that's the end of the matter. I was told that what I do is useless".

Itsiar Gonzalez also said that she was threatened by club employees that they would ruin her life and humiliate her as much as possible. After these pressures, she decided to resign, but even had to fight in court for the approval of this resignation.

Saying that all these processes are now behind her, Itsiar Gonzalez emphasized that she decided to fully disclose this unfair and difficult period of her life to the public for the first time.
