Turkish national team goalkeeper Berke Özer has left the team camp at his own request.
"Report" reports that the Turkish Football Federation has released a statement on the matter.
The goalkeeper, who belongs to the French club Lille, took this step after his name was not included in the match squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Bulgaria (6:1).
Mohammed Şengezer from Başakşehir was called up to the national team in his place.
It should be noted that the Turkish national team will face Georgia on October 14.
