Sports director Deco, together with Barcelona's head coach Hansi Flick, have prepared a list of players they aim to transfer.
Lent.az, citing foreign media, reports that the team's first strengthening will begin with the acquisition of players during this winter transfer window. It is noted that the club intends to sign a defender.
Among those who could move to Barcelona are Gonçalo Inácio (Sporting), Murillo (Nottingham Forest), Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund), Luis Benedetti (Palmeiras) and Marc Guéhi (Crystal Palace).
Other transfers are planned for the summer. Since Robert Lewandowski's contract expires at the end of the season, the priority is to acquire a striker, and the Catalan club is not so interested in extending the Pole's contract due to his age. Among the candidates for the striker position are Julian Alvarez (Atletico), Harry Kane (Bayern) and Erling Haaland (Manchester City).
According to the source, as for the midfield, the club has no plans to acquire new players.
