"Barcelona" will sign a sponsorship agreement with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Idman.biz reports with reference to "Mundo Deportivo" that according to the agreement, which will be concluded for a period of four years, the Catalan club will receive 11 million euros in revenue each year, and the total amount will be 44 million euros.
It is reported that the Minister of Sports and Entertainment of the Congo DR, Didier Budimbu, has been in serious negotiations with Barcelona for several weeks. The goal is to place the logo "RDC, cœur de l"Afrique" ("Democratic Republic of Congo - Heart of Africa") on the back of the club's jerseys.
In June, the Monaco club also announced that it had started a partnership with the Congo DR. The Ligue 1 representative has committed to supporting the development of football in the African country.
It is expected that this agreement with the Congo DR will help improve financial fair play requirements in La Liga and bring Barcelona closer to a 1:1 ratio.
