"The game was difficult for us against the background of fatigue." These words were said by Bakhtiyar Hasanalizade, a football player of "Araz-Nakhchivan", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The defender shared his thoughts on the first-round match of the Misli Premier League, which they drew (1:1) with "Zira":
"The opponent is an ambitious team. They took 2nd place in the Premier League last season. We prepared seriously for the match. We had returned from a long trip. Despite all this, we went to the field and fought until the end. Even though we couldn't do what we wanted in the game, we at least earned a point."
Hasanalizade said that it was difficult to focus on the championship match after the meeting with the Cypriot representative "Omonia" in the UEFA Conference League:
"It was a bit difficult psychologically. We needed character to make a change. We had suffered heavy defeats in both matches. Also, the long journey physically tired us. We couldn't give what we wanted in the match with "Zira" as a game. But the result is satisfactory."
He also spoke about scoring the equalizing goal:
"There is nothing to say. I just felt that the ball would come in that direction. I ran there too. The conditions were created, thank God I took advantage of it."
Hasanalizade also spoke about the goals of the Nakhchivan representative in the current season:
"Our wish is to get into European cups. I don't know what will happen in the next stage. But we intend to win a ticket to European cups. Of course, we also want to be among the medalists."
