On March 17, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation was signed between "Azerkhalcha" OJSC and "Qarabağ" football club.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that the signing ceremony took place in the sales and exhibition hall of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, located in Icherisheher.
The memorandum was signed by Emin Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, Honored Art Worker, and Tahir Gozal, President of "Qarabağ" football club.
The document defines the basic principles of cooperation between the parties in the creation, production and sale of a limited carpet collection that reflects the unity of the traditions of the ancient carpet weaving art of Azerbaijan and football culture, promoting the brand values of the "Qarabağ" club. The memorandum of understanding supports important steps such as sharing the best practices of the parties, developing mutual and bilateral cooperation, as well as establishing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
From now on, both parties will cooperate by creating new carpet designs that will combine the official attributes of the "Qarabağ" football club, Karabakh horses and national ornaments characteristic of the Karabakh region, as well as elements reflecting the Azerbaijani national-cultural heritage, developing their patterns, creating a limited number of carpet collections according to the developed patterns, bringing the produced products to world markets and determining marketing policies, implementing programs and projects in the context of inter-party cooperation, and implementing joint initiatives in any other area determined by the parties within their authority.
During the speeches, both Emin Mammadov and Tahir Gozal expressed their satisfaction with creating active relations in the field of protection of our national heritage, development of carpet weaving art, developing these relations and establishing successful, beneficial and bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest based on the purpose of the signed memorandum.
Honored Art Worker Emin Mammadov especially emphasized that "Azerkhalcha" OJSC promotes Karabakh carpets and culture in general at all events and exhibitions held both in the country and abroad. It was stated that, in turn, "Qarabağ" football club regularly promotes the name "Qarabağ" and the realities of this region internationally through football. What the "Qarabağ" football club has done for Azerbaijani football directly contributes to raising the level of the local championship and promoting Azerbaijani football in the international arena. The club is currently considered the football leader of the South Caucasus.
