An official press conference dedicated to the 3rd season of the Azerbaijan Media League in football was held at Park Cinema. Sport24.az reports that a draw for the teams also took place during the event. The conference was attended by the organizers of the project, representatives of the Azerbaijan Football Federation, sponsors, partners, journalists and team representatives.
The third season of the Media League will start on October 4 at the Bayil Arena stadium. Games will be held every Saturday and Sunday. 6 teams will participate in the tournament; teams are formed from famous bloggers, singers, actors, famous athletes, journalists, and influencers.
Nugzar Kvirtiya, one of the co-founders of the project, said at the conference: "Fans are waiting for exciting games, bright show elements and a unique format that combines sports and media. We are creating a new format for Azerbaijan and the project is already entering its 3rd season. The number of teams has increased, which means more games and more emotions. Our goal is to inspire young people, give the audience a memorable show and lay the foundation for new traditions."
Ziya Aliyev, another co-founder of the project, said the following about the new season: "Azerbaijan Media League is not just football. This is a great platform that brings together media, art and sports. Our main goal is to increase the interest of young people in football and a healthy lifestyle, and at the same time create new entertainment traditions in our country. This project will be an example for young people and will inspire them to show themselves both on the field and in life."
The project is implemented with the support of the Azerbaijan Football Federation, as well as main sponsors and partners. The first games will take place next weekend and viewers will witness a new stage in sports-media events in the country.
