Azer Bagirov talked about Kapaz's preparation plans, transfers and Rufat Abdullazade - INTERVIEW

"We will face Gabala on January 10, and Karvan on the 17th."

This was stated by Kapaz's head coach Azer Bagirov in an interview with futbolxeber.az.

We present that interview.

- You are starting training tomorrow. What is the preparation plan for the second part of the season?

- Yes, our training starts tomorrow. All local football players will join the preparation from tomorrow. Legionnaires will join the team on January 4-5. We will have a two-part preparation process. We will try to prepare the players to the maximum extent. There will be some tactical changes. We will also try to further improve the physical condition of the players.

- The team will be based in Ganja during the preparation period. But you will play both test matches away - in Gabala and Yevlakh. Interestingly, did you make the choice, or did the rivals not want to come to Ganja?

- We will face Gabala on January 10, and Karvan on the 17th. They asked us to play away, and I took it normally. There is no big problem. Our distance to Yevlakh is short. In Gabala, both the field is in good condition and we treat that match as an away game. After the break, our first meeting will be away against Garabagh.

- Two legionnaires left the team during the winter break. Will there be more departures?

- We have parted ways with Kacper Rosa and Perdo Gomes. No other departures are planned. It is possible that there are some local young football players who, if they agree with clubs where they can wear uniforms for 90 minutes, we will create conditions for them, taking into account the prospects.

- What is the situation with new transfers?

- There are difficulties in strengthening the squad during the winter period. We are also working in this direction. I believe that we will be able to realize what we want by the start of the second part of the season.

- It was reported in the press that you are interested in Rufat Abdullazade, the half-defender of our national team, who plays for the Croatian club Varazdin, and that he will be involved in the team on loan. How true is this?

- Rufat is a very good football player. Every team would like to see him in their squad. Time will tell whether he will come to Kapaz or not. I believe that everything will be to the liking of Kapaz fans. There are also realities that we will take into account and continue on our way.
