Ayxan Huseynov: About Preparation, Competition and Fans

Idman.biz reports that these words were said by Aykhan Huseynov, a football player of "Turan Tovuz", in his statement to Futbolinfo.az.

The 26-year-old midfielder emphasized that the main goal during the preparation period was not to achieve results, but to form a team: "The main thing in the training camp was not the result. New players came to us, and it was more important for us to understand each other. We had very good moments where we could score, but we weren't lucky. I am sure that it will be different in the championship."

Huseynov also touched upon his individual performance in the preparation games and focused on the importance of the season: "I am always better in training camps, but the main thing is to maintain this in the championship. The head coach gives a lot of advice on tactics, and this is normal, because we still have room to grow."

Aykhan stated that the increased competition motivates him even more: "There will be more competition this year, but this is good because it gives me more motivation to become stronger and help the team achieve results."

Finally, he specifically touched upon the role of the fans and expressed how important they are to the team: "Our fans are the 12th player and they always help us, we always want to encourage them, God willing, they will support us as always this season."
