The experienced expert announced his expectations for the match of our national team, which will face the Latvian national team on June 7:
"We have not been able to win in the last ten games - neither official nor friendly matches. If we can do this in the match with Latvia, the players can get out of the psychological tension, even if only a little. It would not be correct to compare Latvia with the Haiti national team. Because Haiti is a superior team to Belarus and Latvia. The Latvian national team is similar to the Belarus national team in terms of strength. The game style may be different. What makes it difficult for us is going on a trip. It is not easy to play after a flight. In this respect, the forces are equalized with the Latvian national team. Currently, the quality of our players allows us to defeat them. "Qarabag" and "Sabah" players who will join the national team should be given 2-3 days of rest. Because they join after a 120-minute final game. Maybe Santos gave more rest to the players of these two teams in the first game. This also relatively weakens our strength."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will face Latvia in Riga on June 7, and 3 days later, Hungary in Baku.
