"Arsenal" has made an official offer to the Brazilian club "Corinthians" for the 25-year-old right-back Matheusinho. Sport24.az reports, citing "Daily Arsenal", that the London club is interested in strengthening its defense.
Although "Arsenal" head coach Mikel Arteta is very keen on this transfer, "Corinthians" does not want to lose one of its key players. However, if Matheusinho himself insists on the move, "Corinthians" will have to reconsider its position.
It should be noted that the defender has appeared in 13 matches this season and scored one goal. Matheusinho's contract with "Corinthians" runs until 2028. According to "Transfermarkt", his market value is 6 million euros.
