The semifinal match of the English League Cup between London's "Chelsea" and "Arsenal" has concluded.

In the seventh minute, Arsenal defender Ben White opened the scoring. In the 49th minute, striker Viktor Gyökeres doubled his team's lead. In the 57th minute, Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho reduced the deficit. In the 71st minute, midfielder Martin Zubimendi scored the "Gunners'" third goal. Garnacho scored his second goal in the 83rd minute.
The second leg of the English League Cup semi-final will be held on February 2. In the final, the winner of this tie will face the stronger team from the "Manchester City" – "Newcastle" match. The winner of the cup will be determined on March 22.
