The Central Bank of Argentina has presented a symbolic coin commemorating the famous goal scored by legendary footballer Diego Maradona against England at the 1986 World Cup.
According to "Report", the bank's press service reported this.
The back of the coin depicts Maradona's trajectory of advance before the goal he scored against the England (2:1) national team in the 1/4 finals of the 1986 World Cup. In that match, the striker carried the ball from the center of the field and scored the winning goal.
The coin, dedicated to the 2026 World Cup, is made of 925 sterling silver and has a face value of 10 dollars.
It should be noted that the Argentine national team won the 1986 World Cup. The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Mexico and Canada. 48 teams will participate in the tournament for the first time.
