The team's colors are yellow and black, taken from the Byzantine Empire (or Eastern Roman Empire), which was located in the area of the city of Thessaloniki in ancient times.
"Aris", whose nickname is "God of War", has been the champion of Greece 3 times in its history (1945/1946, 1931/1932, 1927/1928 seasons). In addition, the team also won the national cup once (1969/1970 season).
