These words were said by Andrey Sinenka, the Belarusian goalkeeper of "Imishli", during his interview with futbolinfo.az.
– Let's start the conversation with the draw (1:1) you had with "Zira" in the 6th round. Although you took the lead in the 24th minute, you could not keep your advantage until the end. In your opinion, did "Imishli" win 1 point or lose 2 points in the duel with a strong opponent?
– I think the match was tense and full of struggles for both teams. "Zira" is not only a strong team, but also has quality players and a precise tactical system. It is never easy to play with such opponents, but I enjoy such matches. Considering the course of the game, the result is satisfactory, but not ideal. Of course, conceding a goal at the end of the match is unpleasant, but we are looking forward and will work hard to improve our results.
– You had not conceded a goal in the Azerbaijan Premier League until the match with "Zira". If you could have endured another 10-15 minutes, the "dry streak" would have continued. What can you say about this?
– Yes, it is, of course, sad. As it turned out, another Belarusian football player (referring to Zira's striker Yegor Bogomolski – ed.) created confusion in our defense line, and as a result, we conceded a goal. But I will try to create successful series again in the upcoming games.
– How would you analyze the performance of "Imishli" in the first 6 rounds in general? Are you completely satisfied with your team's performance?
– Our start is satisfactory. There are both positive aspects and aspects that need to be developed. But we work intensively in training, constantly improving team play and interaction. We strive to improve our performance from game to game, the players adapt to each other better and establish effective cooperation on the field. We will evaluate the team situation in May.
– In the next round, you will be a guest of "Araz-Nakhchivan". How do you assess the chances in this meeting?
– "Araz Nakhchivan" is a big club, distinguished by its high goals and quality players. We will seriously prepare for the upcoming meeting, conduct a comprehensive analysis and try to show the maximum result. The result of the match will be determined by the fight on the field.
– I would also like to know your opinion about the head coach, Jorj Castiglia. How would you characterize him as a coach? What features of Castiglia do you like the most?
– The initial successes are entirely the result of his work: daily analyzes, analyzes, trainings and individual work with each player. He clearly and decisively explains to the players each of their duties on the field. He shows complete loyalty to football and the team. He united the team around a goal. We will try to adequately respond to his work with our games and results.
– What do you think about the level of the Azerbaijan championship? What do you like and dislike about our championship?
– The level of the championship is quite high, but there are always opportunities for development and improvement. There are many quality teams and individually strong players that create serious competition with the leading clubs of Azerbaijani football. The abundance of legionnaires increases both the competition and the overall level of the championship.
