"Real" goalkeeper Andrey Lunin has made a final decision to stay at the Madrid club for at least one more season. Sport24.az reports that "Diario Gol" has reported this.
According to the source, the goalkeeper's future at the club will depend on the role he will play in the team under the leadership of the new head coach Xabi Alonso.
For now, 33-year-old Courtois remains the main goalkeeper. However, a physical factor could cause Lunin to become the number one goalkeeper for the "Royal Club." The coach and club president Florentino Perez also believe that Lunin is ready for such responsibility.
It should be noted that Lunin conceded 19 goals in 14 games in the completed season and kept a clean sheet in 6 matches.
