The Moroccan Football Federation is considering the possibility of cooperation with Andres Iniesta, the former football player of the Spanish national team and "Barcelona". Sport24.az reports that "Mundo Deportivo" has reported on this.
The officials of the organization have already taken the first step towards potential partnership. The 41-year-old former football player was invited to Rabat to watch the final match of the African Cup of Nations with Senegal. This visit may be the beginning of negotiations on Iniesta's possible role in the structure of the Moroccan national team.
It is reported that the federation values the former Barcelona midfielder as a figure who can strengthen the coaching staff thanks to his high-level experience. However, a final decision on the position and functions to be held by the Spanish specialist has not yet been made.
It should be noted that Andres Iniesta finished his football career in the summer of 2024.
