Atletico Madrid's Aleksandr Sørloth has been named Champions League Player of the Week based on fan voting.
"Report" reports with reference to UEFA's press service that the striker scored a hat-trick in the return leg of the play-off round against Club Brugge (Belgium) (4:1), making a major contribution to his team's victory.
It should be noted that the Norwegian footballer surpassed Jens Petter Hauge (Bodø/Glimt), Aurélien Tchouaméni (Real Madrid) and Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray) in the voting.
