Stuttgart's Aleksandr Nübel has become the first German goalkeeper to provide an assist in a UEFA Europa League match.
Report reports, citing Opta, that the 28-year-old goalkeeper managed this in the first-round match of the main stage, in which they defeated the Spanish representative Celta.
He provided the assist in the 51st minute. Nübel recorded his first assist of his career in the 2024/2025 season in a match against Mainz 05.
It should be noted that Stuttgart defeated Celta with a score of 2:1.
