- Yes, I have already played 2 games and I can say that you need to run a lot on the field during the matches here. We prepared well physically during the training camp, so there is no problem with that. There are quality players in the Premier League teams, which increases the level of the championship.
- You defeated the last champion "Qarabag" in the second round. Did you expect such a result in the match against a strong opponent?
- To be honest, I personally expected a victory over "Kapaz" and I was optimistic against "Qarabag". You also need a little luck in games against champion teams. This result was unexpected for many, but we analyzed the opponent well. We played very tightly on the field. Nevertheless, they still created scoring opportunities. This shows the level of "Qarabag".
- You scored a beautiful goal in the match against "Kapaz" in the first round. How would you describe that goal?
- Yes, I scored a goal. I don't know how to describe it, but for me it doesn't matter how the goal is scored. Whether it is from near or far, the main thing is that it is a goal. Most importantly, we won 3 points in that match. I hope we will continue like this.
- What are Sumgayit's goals for this season in the Premier League and the Azerbaijan Cup?
- We always set big goals for ourselves. I think we can get into the top three in the league this year. Also, our main goal is to advance as far as we can in the cup.
- What are your impressions of Azerbaijan?
- I am very comfortable in Azerbaijan, I like it very much here. Being by the sea, good weather, sun, people's positivity and their willingness to help you all the time is amazing. I feel happy here.
- You have played in the national teams of Serbia's lower age groups. Do you think you have a chance to continue your successful performance in "Sumgayit" and receive an invitation to the main national team?
- Yes, I have played in all the youth teams of Serbia. The future will show what will happen. I believe that one day I will achieve the honor of being invited to the main national team. Because playing in the national team is the dream of every football player.
