Amsterdam's "Ajax" has released information about the influx of fans for the Champions League group stage match against "Qarabag" in Baku.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to the club's statement, 1443 Dutch fans will be in the guest sector of the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. This figure has been confirmed by "Ajax Life".
A total of 1970 tickets were allocated for visiting fans. However, it was not expected that the sector would be completely full in advance due to visa requirements, long distances, the high cost of travel, and the need for time off from work. Nevertheless, more than 1400 "Ajax" fans will agree to a difficult travel route to support their team.
This is a significant increase compared to last season. At that time, only 450 Amsterdam fans came to the "Qarabag" - "Ajax" match in Baku in the Europa League.
The "Qarabag" - "Ajax" match will take place on December 10. The match will start at 21:45.
