Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmati has won the Ballon d'Or for the best player of the 2024/25 season. Sport24.az reports that Bonmati is the first woman in the history of women's football to win the Ballon d'Or three times.
She has won it three times in a row. In the fight for the award, the Spaniard surpassed Arsenal striker Marion Kaldentey.
Note that Aytana played 44 games and scored 15 goals in all tournaments last season. In the 2024/25 season, the footballer won the Spanish Championship, the Spanish Cup and the Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona.
