"To be honest, we expected "Qarabağ" to take points from "Copenhagen", not "Benfica".

The former football player of "Qarabağ" revealed his expectations regarding the "Qarabağ" - "Copenhagen" (Denmark) match, which will be held within the League stage of the UEFA Champions League:
"The opponent has developed a lot in recent years, it is not the old "Copenhagen". We will play in our home field, there will be a completely different atmosphere. I believe that "Qarabağ" will show its best game and, although it is difficult, will win. We have met "Copenhagen" once. I was also in that squad. Although we lost away, we surpassed them due to the away goal. Now the opposing team plays faster and performs well in attack. "Qarabağ" has played against such teams a lot. It is a team with which we will gain 1 or 3 points in the group. I believe that the players also understand this. There are many matches ahead. The further we can go, the greater success we will achieve in the name of our football".
It should be noted that the match "Qarabağ" - "Copenhagen" will take place on October 1 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium. The starting whistle of the match will sound at 20:45.
