As part of the preparation process for the U-20 World Cup in football, AFFA was represented at an international event with a special presentation zone.
Idman.Biz reports that an interactive stand of the Association of Azerbaijan Football Federations was set up at the "Urban Expo" exhibition organized within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
The stand with the inscription "FIFA U-20 World Cup Azerbaijan & Uzbekistan 2027" became one of the most interesting zones for the event participants. It highlighted not only the presentation of the tournament, but also the social values that football brings to society.
AFFA's stand especially emphasized ideas of a healthy lifestyle, attracting young people to sports, inclusiveness, and sustainable development. A mini-football goal was installed in the green-covered area, giving guests the opportunity to take penalty kicks.
This format also attracted the attention of foreign representatives. Forum participants learned about AFFA's football projects and participated in interactive sports activities.
It should be noted that the U-20 World Cup will be co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in 2027.
