A seminar on "Protecting Children's Rights in Football" was held in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, organized by UEFA, with the participation of social and environmental sustainability officers from 55 member football federations. According to Sport24.az, the purpose of the event is to harmonize modern standards for the protection of children's safety, well-being and rights in the sports environment among federations, share best practices in the field of sustainable management, and contribute to the development of a sustainable and transparent management model.
Kifayat Mustafayeva, AFFA's Social and Environmental Sustainability Manager, who participated in the seminar, exchanged views with representatives of leading federations and provided information on the work done in our country in the field of protecting children's rights and building a sustainable sports environment.
During the two-day event, participants exchanged views on UEFA's new framework model for the protection of children's rights, risk assessment and protection protocols, and the creation of a safe sports environment for children.
The seminar is considered an important platform that contributes to strengthening cooperation between UEFA member federations and creating a safe, protected and inclusive football environment for children.
