According to the information transmitted to our editorial office, the AFFA leadership is dissatisfied with the work of the coaches of the lower age group national teams and wants to part ways with them. We are talking about Elkhan Abdullayev, the head coach of U-19, Ilham Yadullayev, who is "at the helm" of U-18, and Agil Nabiyev, who performs the same duties in U-15 and U-17. The contract of the coaches we mentioned expires on January 1, 2026. It is planned not to sign a new agreement with them.
