- You are now the new head coach of "Sabail". What are your impressions of your appointment?
- It's good. We have been following "Sabail" as a team. The team's position in the standings is not bad. But we need to achieve better results. Our goal is to continue the work that has been done. I thank the management for trusting me. I will do my best to justify their trust.
- How do you assess the potential of the players in the team?
- I know many of the players in the squad. We have worked together with most of them before. There are also those we don't know. We will see what they are capable of in a short time.
- "Sabail"'s goal is clear. We just wanted to hear it from you again...
- Of course, the goal is to return to the Premier League at the end of the season. Then we aim to strengthen in the Premier League again and perform successfully.
- After 9 rounds, although "Sabail" is the team that conceded the fewest goals in the I League, it is 8th among 10 teams in terms of the number of goals scored. Can we say that the main problem is in attack?
- Yes, it seems so from a statistical point of view. We will work on the problems in the attacking line. A heavy burden falls on us to eliminate this shortcoming. In general, we need to be more effective both in attack and defense.
- The difference in points with the leader "Shafa" is 5. Does this moment worry you in terms of championship?
- Only one round has passed in the championship. There are still 18 rounds ahead. Although the point difference is 5, we will still face "Shafa" twice. So everything is in the team's own hands. We must focus on each match and reduce the point difference. We have a chance.
- You signed a contract for one and a half years. Can this be seen as the management's belief in you and your ability to promote the team to the Premier League?
- Yes. Our initial conversation with the management was based on this. The management gave us that confidence. We will do our best to justify that trust.
