The head coach of "Kapaz" Adil Shukurov gave an interview to the club's press service.
Idman.biz reports that the specialist assessed the team's situation and expressed his attitude to the management changes.
- Adil muallim, you returned to "Kapaz" after a break of about a year. What differences do you see between the previous "Kapaz" and the current one?
- It is a great honor and responsibility to be in this great club again. I thank the new club management for believing and giving me this chance again. I hope that I can say on my part that I will do my best to make "Kapaz" better. This is a principle for me, and I hope that this year "Kapaz" will be superior to the team of the period I was in before. For this, our chairman Adil muallim, as well as Farman Alizade and other members of the board of directors, have organized all possible opportunities in the club. The development of football players is very important, and "Kapaz" has the necessary conditions. The team's base is almost completely at the disposal of the main team. In the recent past, when I was in the team, I really wanted the team to be fed before and after training. The team members, as in the days when I played for "Kapaz", would come to the base in advance, rest in the rooms and go to training. After the arrival of the new management, the players' food was provided. The team spending more time together at the base leads to the formation of a team. In addition, our chairman said that after the III CIS Games, lighting will be installed on the Academy's training grounds.
- A new management has come to the club. What changes have been observed after the activities of the new management?
- After the arrival of the new management, everyone in the club started working more responsibly and result-oriented. Our chairman demands this from everyone working in the "Kapaz" team and has created conditions for this in the club. Everything has been provided in the club, from structural changes to the support given to the main team. Additional support has also been provided for the Academy coaches. In return, we will work harder to fulfill the leadership's wishes in the club.
- How is the formation of the squad and the selection process of football players carried out? Who is doing this job?
- The selection of football players for the main team is carried out by the coaching staff. Along with young and local football players, we are trying to form a synthesis of legionnaire players and we are continuing this process. Erkin Ibrahimov, a member of the Board of Directors, supports us in this work. There were delays in some players joining the team, which does not affect the team's game. This is normal in transfer matters. But despite this, I believe that I will fully fulfill the leadership's task.
- There is still time until the end of the transfer window. Are there any plans to attract new players to the team?
- Negotiations with several players are ongoing. In the coming days, this issue will be resolved, and then we will see a more competitive "Kapaz" in the championship. For this, we as a coaching staff are putting all our efforts. In the end, I am fully confident that we will live up to the expectations of "Kapaz" fans, those who love "Kapaz".
