"It was a difficult game." These words were said by "Qarabag" football player Abdullah Zubir, Sport24.az reports.
The experienced midfielder shared his thoughts on the return match of the II qualifying round of the Champions League, in which they defeated the Irish representative "Shelbourne" in Baku (1:0):
"The opponent was meeting us in the back and took a waiting position. After the score was opened, they started playing a little more open football. The main thing was to win and get a ticket to the next stage. We managed to do it. It's time to focus on the next matches".
Zubir also spoke about the matches in the III qualifying round:
"We have our own goals. We will prepare well for those meetings. We will do our best in this round."
It should be noted that "Qarabag" will face the North Macedonian representative "Shkendija" in the III qualifying round.
