In this regard, Anand, who applied to the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, stated that he would be happy to participate in the next competitions.
It should be noted that in the tournament to be held on April 28-30 at the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, Azerbaijani champion Rauf Mammadov will compete against Uzbek world champion Rustam Kasimdzhanov. Also, Gunay Mammadzada, the winner of the country's women's championship, will compete against world and European champion Antoaneta Stefanova in the same tournament.
