Boxing competitions continued at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex as part of the III CIS Games.
"Report" informs that 6 Azerbaijani boxers have advanced to the final of the tournament.
Aysel Farajova (46 kg) from our team defeated Rukhshonabonu Ahadova from Uzbekistan and reached the final.
Amina Taghi, another boxer competing in the semi-final in the 50 kg weight category, was better than Arina Kmita from Belarus – 4:1.
Another Azerbaijani boxer, Jamila Muradli (54 kg), defeated Adelaida Sadvakassova from Kazakhstan (5:0) and secured a place in the final.
In the 60 kg weight category, Aynur Ismayilova defeated Furug Sarhaszoda from Tajikistan. Gular Huseynova (48 kg) was better than another representative of Tajikistan, Kumriniso Imomaliyeva. Both of our boxers reached the final.
In another semi-final match, Azerbaijani athlete Fidan Bakarova (63 kg) defeated Zlata Konovalova from Russia.
Thus, 6 Azerbaijani boxers qualified for the final.
It should be noted that the final matches among female boxers will be held on October 4.
