"Zenit" Parts Ways with Xavi Pascual

Russian basketball club "Zenit" has parted ways with head coach Xavi Pascual.

Idman.biz reports that the St. Petersburg representative announced this.

Under the leadership of the Spanish specialist, "Zenit" ended CSKA's hegemony in the 2021/2022 season and won the historic Russian champion title. In addition, the team won the national Super Cup twice under his leadership. Last season, the Petersburgers lost to the army team in the final.

It should be noted that Pascual has been working at Zenit since 2020. He previously worked at Barcelona and Panathinaikos.
