A selection tour for the national basketball team among girls born in 2013, 2014, and 2015 took place in the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Technical University.

It was reported that a total of 61 people participated in the selections led by Evren Alkaya, the head coach of the women's national team.
23 of them were selected for the team and taken under the supervision of the national team's coaches.
It should be noted that such selection tours are important steps taken in the country's basketball to identify young talents and strengthen the national team in the future.
